Oki c5510n Toner Cartridges: A Money Saving Idea

by Ben Pate

Small business owners know how much the price copier and printer toner can take from your profits. What many people don't know is that there are toner cartridges on the market that, while not being a name brand, are both safe and reliable for use in their printers, and also cost much less. For example, let me tell you the story of what happened when one of our clients purchased a big shipment of remanufactured Okidata 5510 toner.

How much can switching to a compatible instead of brand name Oki 5510n toner cartridge save you? Take the story of Jim McNamara, the project manager for a regional business that sells supplies for restaurants. He located an online distributor for compatible toner cartridges that were 1/3 to a half as pricey as the brand name ones he had been purchasing, and the savings to his business lowered his total monthly budget by an amazing 16%!

He asked a few of his employees to use compatible cartridges in their 200 Okidata c5510 machines. He was slightly unsure at first, but he quickly realized that these cartridges were the same quality as the much more expensive brand name inks he used to purchase. Jim wanted to see the copies himself and was impressed with the quality: good ink yield, adequate coverage, and no smudges.

The compatible Oki 5510 inks are made by companies using the same or even better technology and ink. These distributors use quality control tests that are just as rigorous as those run by name-brand ink producers. The result of all this time is that your compatible cartridge will have high quality at a very reduced cost.

Jim's success story doesn't end here. Just three months after that Jim was named the company's manager of the month, largely because of his successful money saving approach in buying the Oki c5510 toner cartridges. Jim's boss also decided that it would be financially-effective to have Jim oversee toner purchasing for the whole company which led to the company saving tens of thousands of dollars each year.

We can all be inspired by Jim's story of cutting costs and raising revenue. You can begin by asking your office supplier about lower-cost Oki supplies that are compatible with your copier. By using the amounts they give you, you can do your own cost comparison on the internet. Broaden your search to other products. Even little changes can result in big differences in the bottom line.

Copier and printer toner prices can be huge for a small business, however, there are compatible toner cartridges. These are safe for use and cheap. A client found that he could buy Oki toner cartridges online at 1/3 of the cost of the original toner. He used these cartridges instead of the other Okidata c5510 toner machines. He noticed that the copies were the same quality as the original toner. The remanufactured toner companies use the same products and the same business practices to offer a top quality product at a lower cost. Any business trying to save in their expenses should look at using compatible toner cartridges.
