I’m subscribed to a couple email lists where I get daily quotes, simply to help keep me in a constructive frame of mind.
I also have a few things posted on the wall by my desk, just to keep them ‘front of mind’ again to remind me of the things on which I want to stay focused.
I do this also for motivation, peace of mind, and a few other very worthwhile benefits.
Recently I’ve run across a few that I felt compelled to share with you.
“What’s dangerous is not to evolve.”
— Jeff Bezos: is the founder, president, and CEO of Amazon.com
“You were born to win, but to be a
winner, you must plan to win, prepare
to win, and expect to win.”
— Zig Ziglar: Motivational author and speaker
“Being challenged in life is inevitable,
being defeated is optional.”
— Roger Crawford: Motivational author and speaker
“We are what we repeatedly do.
Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”
— Aristotle: was a Greek philosopher
“You seldom improve quality by cutting
costs, but you can often cut costs
by improving quality.”
— Karl Albrecht: a German entrepreneur who founded the supermarket chain Aldi
It is this mental approach to things that separates the winners from the losers more than anything:
- Be persistent.
- Pursue excellence.
- Become the person you wish to be.
- Believe in yourself and your goal
- Keep it simple
- Keep moving forward
- To be strong, you’ve got to have heart
Enjoy!

P.S. One of my favorites,
“What you can do or dream you can do, begin it;
boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”
