Marina Kuperman Villatoro is the founder and creator of TheTraderChick. She is an expat mama, born in the Soviet Union, raised in the US.

At the age of 27 she put on a backpack and took off for a ‘gap year’ from NYC. She headed south with no real plan, but while in Mexico her love for learning Spanish grew and she was told that in Guatemala she can take the cheapest private classes in the world.  There she met her husband Frederico with whom she’s had two sons and they enjoy rock climbing, traveling and other cool stuff.
