[Trading Psychology] A Commonly Disregarded Account Killer

gravestoneToday I want to share with you another practical aspect of trading psychology that often completely destroys accounts yet commonly gets disregarded.

Now today’s message is directly related to yesterday’s, where I shared with you a valuable wisdom from one of my early mentors.

Essentially it was that trading is tremendously competitive, basically everyone in the world against you, so you better come properly prepared.

Now we all live in a pretty busy world and have busy lives.

Plus all the noise that’s part of it, with your job, your family, the bills, plus a million other distractions, entertainments and everything else screaming for your time and attention.

Your brain is getting overloaded on a regular basis – which creates this dangerous account killer.

When this one comes up, it often takes your account clear to ZERO – and for a very specific reason.

You see, when you’re under a lot of stress, your subconscious recognizes that this is a threat to your well-being.

And the greater the stress, the more likely your subconscious is to take action (sabotage you) to end that stress.

Now as you know, trading can be VERY stressful.

And if you are NOT fully prepared with a solid system in which you a well-founded confidence, this creates a very stressful situation.

Especially when your system isn’t delivering and your trading isn’t living up to what you’d hoped for.

Worst situation of all is when things aren’t working – and you don’t know what to do.

VERY stressful.

Ever wonder WHY some traders keep trading up all the way to the point that they’ve completely emptied their account?

When the stress gets great enough, your subconscious will make you stop trading by killing your account – thus forcing you to stop trading and finally bringing the stress to an end.

So what can you do to prevent that from happening?

Make sure that you are properly trained to be an independent, self-directed trader.

At the core, this starts with knowing how to make sure that your system is highly tradeable and likely to produce the results you seek.

Without this know-how, you go on faith and hope – what a stressful way to trade.

Become a KNOWING trader, gain the know-how you need and have the confidence you want.

Besides reducing your stress and anxiety levels, you’ll find that you can give yourself a nice raise at the same time
